September in the Dales

Brian writes, "September 2015 was a glorious month for painting in the Northern Dales. In the final days of summer and with high pressure holding over most of the country, the light and colours were spectacular. I knew it wouldn't last, so I spent most of the month along the banks of the River Ure in Wensleydale, near my home, capturing the reflections on the water and watching the fishermen and wildlife enjoying the warm sunshine. Here are some of the oil paintings that were produced."
